I have included more help in this version of SF0BYTE, this was due to a call
I got where the sysop did not fully understand how to get the DIRECTORY
listing.
If you do not understand the following consult your DOS manual.
Do a REDIRECTED directory listing of each directory on your CD-ROM that
contains files you wish your users to have access to.
This is a sample of a redirected DIR listing....
Z:\001A>DIR > C:\WORK\001A.LST
I have my CD setup as DRIVE Z:, I also name the output file the same as the
directory that it represents. THAT MAKES IT EASY TO STAY ORGANIZED!
Now edit the "HEADER" and the "FOOTER" off each DIR list that you create.
You are now ready to use SF0BYTE!

This program is simple and straight forward, it may be run manually or from
the command line in a batch file.
To run the program I suggest you place it in a directory in your systems DOS
path, next change directories so your in the file area you wish to add the 0
byte files to, Now at the DOS prompt simply type SF0BYTE, the program will ask
you the complete PATH & FILENAME of your edited dir list. This program may also
be executed from a batch file, I have included a sample .BAT file.
Why did I write this program when there were over 3 already out there? Well
I downloaded all of the "0" byte file generators that I saw, and none of the 3
worked.
I have included a sample .BAT file to use as an example of how to run this
utility UNATTENDED, also I have included 2 sample DIRECTORY listings for those
SysOps that need it, the EDITED.LST is how your DIR.lst should appear after
editing the Header and Footer of a raw listing, and ofcourse a raw listing to
compare it with.

This version will help you if you get into trouble!
==============================================================================
If for some odd reason you get an error, this version of SF0BYTE will help you
nail down your problem.
It will return with either the Drive, Path & Filename you specified if the file
could not be found, or the last line of text from the directory listing it was
processing when the error occured, if this was the case it will show a blank
space or spaces between the quotation marks, you CAN NOT have a blank line in
these listings.
If for *ANY* reason you have trouble using this utility give me a call via my
BBS.
